Hi all, I'm interested in your experience with different tools used for valuation.

Back when I worked in finance (a long time ago), we would use tools such as FactSet, CapitalIQ etc. to screen for comparable transactions and transaction multiples.

Wondering if there are any tools today that folks find particularly helpful, especially for small business valuations.

One helpful thing - if you look above on your SearchFunder dashboard under "BVR", you'll find a ton of good comps there. What may be helpful is filtering by NAICS code if you have an industry focus.

Grata is your best bet. Or talk to investment bankers or brokers. But generally a multiple of EBITDA that is negotiable.
