I'm starting a search with a geographical focus on the east coast but am industry agnostic. Any recommendations on how to quickly build a list of brokers that can then be used for selected outreach / potential drip campaigns?
Is there a best site to try to compile a list of brokers based on specific criteria (geography, industries, etc)?

1) Use IBBA.org to find brokers in my target geographies
2) Look at each brokers' website and rate them based on: (a) frequency of postings; (b) quality of postings - as measured by amount of detail or subjective reliability; (c) relevance of postings to my target areas
3) For brokers on the lower end of the ratings, set a frequency of checking their sites, but take no other action yet
4) For brokers with higher ratings, find an active listing - even if I wouldn't be terribly likely to pursue it - and reach out to them to learn more and schedule an introductory call. Use this opportunity to proactively share the key information about your qualifications and interest as a buyer
5) Keep separate trackers (mine are in Google Sheets) of brokers, brokerages, and listings, tracking brokers and listings by stage (reached out, responded, NDA signed, offer made, etc.)
