What is the average EBITDA multiple in the Restaurant Sector?

I'm trying to determine what valuation to apply on a restaurant business for sale. 

Can anyone share what the average EBITDA multiple to use for the Restaurant sector? 

Further, are there any valuation guidelines to be aware of for different types of restaurants (i.e. franchise vs single unit, cosmopolitan vs rural etc.)? 

I appreciate your help.
