Vocational schools?

I was just speaking to someone who is looking to buy a small vocational school (the max he can pay is something in the $1 million range). Has anyone come across anything like this? (At Solebury Advisors we don't do buy side work (only sell side), so I'd just be sending this to him as a favor.) Thanks!

Which geographical region is the person interested in? If APAC (North East Asia and Australia/NZ), these are markets and an industry I have significant knowledge about. In particular, Korea (where I am currently based) has a large (and growing) private education industry (valued approx. US$ 28.34 b in###-###-#### which includes vocational schools/institutions. Recently Fast Campus (vocational education for adults) raised USD4.5 million from Softbank and IMM investments and had a revenue of >US$10 m in###-###-#### the market segment is for professional development for adults valued around US$2.7b).
