Traditional Searchfunds that Serve International Acquisitions?

Hi all! Are there any traditional searchfunds out there that work with searchers who are acquiring a business outside of the US?

Specifically, I'm thinking of a scenario where a US-based searcher would acquire a virtually-run business headquartered in another country and remain in the US post-acquisition to operate the business.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

We do not really fund international businesses so I do not have a lot of experience from that standpoint. But one thing to be aware of is that you cannot use SBA 7A financing to buy a foreign business. Also, most conventional banks and even many non-bank lenders will not fund international business acquisitions as they do not have the time or resources to understand international law and the risks associated with it. So if you are looking for financing on the acquisition, it is going to be very difficult to find it.
