Tips on raising capital

Hi, can someone give me some tips on raising equity? In my experience it’s been easier for me to raise debt because lenders are in the business of lending and know exactly what they want so their pretty responsive at least but I have a hard time raising equity at times and it’s strange because I’ve ran multiple companies at the same time remotely and have achieved growth through Covid so I would think investors would find this experience invaluable but I’m not sure they do. Any pointers?
