Thoughts on Teamshares?

Hi,

Recently came across US startup Teamsharres: https://techcrunch.com/2023/08/24/this-venture-backed-startup-has-quietly-bought-more-than-80-mom-and-pop-shops/

I can't really get my head around how they make money? What are you thoughts on this? And how do you see companies like that competing with traditional search funds?
