Hello all,
Due to the nature of my profession as a commercial real estate broker, I regularly interact with SMB owners who have either mentioned retirement or I suspect are close to retirement or may be in a position to sell. A few seem like they could be good prospects for acquisition.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to approach a cold email or phone call with someone who you've interacted with professionally? Most of my interactions are in a deal making capacity so the relationships are often times somewhat surface level and with only a dozen or so of interactions with each.
