I closed a deal on May 27 thanks in large part to his help. Several other lenders turned down the deal, but Bruce partnered with me to figure out how to make the deal workable from an SBA perspective. My timeline was:
3/15: LOI signed
3/20: Loan application completed
3/29: Loan Term Sheet
4/13: Loan Commitment Letter
5/27: Deal Closed
From what I've been told, that's a very fast SBA process. Bruce helped by structuring the deal and helping me clear roadblocks in advance (get started early on your life insurance policy!).
The whole team at FBOL was flexible and constructive from beginning to end. The APA was not finished until the night before close and they still got it done.
