Hi there,

We are looking to get a feel for what the standard terms for a seller note in the UK/Europe are (interest, PIK?, term, % EV, etc). We understand this varies case by case (incl. sizes, etc) but keen to learn what the community things about it.

Any thoughts on this topic?

Many thanks in advance!
BR,
J

Hi All, I've been wanting to understand the same about various deal structures so I've set up a "form" to collate information confidentially (an email is not required) - I'm happy to share my findings with all who contribute. You can find the form here:

Hi Joan, the range is very wide (we have seen from 10 to 40%). But the term and interest seems to generally fall between 3-5 years and 5-7% interest. Let me know if you would like to connect to discuss further, always interested in meeting new searchers in the UK.
