Selecting sectors to focus on - any hints and tips?

Hi - I am wondering how people decide which sectors to focus on when searching for an opportunity? 

I am interested in real estate agencies, logistics and warehousing, and agribusiness.

I also find it interesting that a lot of blogs mention that most deals get done in sectors NOT initially identified by the searcher. Any thoughts on this?

I would focus in sectors that match your successful experiences and avoid those in witch to struggled obviously. But moreover you are probably more confortable with some business operating models than others. BtoBtoC or BtoB, products manufacturing or services etc. and this is somehow sector's agnostic
