I am interested in learning about the 7a SBA program. What are the best resources to learn about the program and the requirements of pre qualification and the process?

Are the seminars or videos available? Or is it best to connect with a Bank to understand what the process is?
Any help would be much appreicated. Thank you.

The first thing you should know is that 7(a) loan origination is big business and that banks have their own interpretations of SBA guidance; therefore your term sheet should be tailored to fit your lender's interpretation of that guidance. There is surely a bank in your area that is part of SBA Preferred Lending Program (PLP). Find out who the officer is that does the most 7a lending and go speak with them in person (my preference) or give them a call Researching online can give you ALL of the information and you only need SOME of the information so save yourself the time.
