Curious if any searchers / operators have experience in and around niche SaaS based businesses with near shore development teams ($2.5mm EBITDA, $5mm Revenue). Looking at one now and the owner wants to transition out so will be searching for a new CEO who ideally could come in day 1.

Nearly all SAAS firms should make use of a global labor force to be capital efficient. If everything is onshore its an opportunity for cost improvement. What matters in DD is (A) are those employees real (B) what is the velocity with which they are contributing to the feature complete items that get shipped (C) what is the ROI on those features and (D) cost per line of launched code inside of (C).
