Recycling Companies

Over the past few months, I've been doing a ton of research on recycling companies. Does anyone have experience purchasing recycling companies or any advice on getting into the space? 

There's a ton of different routes we've been looking into: plastics recycling, construction and demolition recycling, battery/hardware recycling.

Thanks --@----.com So typically you see that most recycling companies that you have come by are already a part of a larger firm? For example, you're seeing that a company in the manufacturing space may already have a division of the company that is handling recycling as opposed to outsourcing it?

Recycling margins tend to vary based on commodity prices.The 2 areas which seemed pretty stable were concrete recycling and dirt/compost facilities. These are tough to come by though, since the ones I looked into were all profitable subsidiaries of larger firms
