Does anyone have a source for valuation multiples for land surveying? This is the regular land surveying - nothing from an airplane or underwater. I can't seem to find anything on average multiples paid (either for SDE or EBITDA).

I have a subscription to BVR, but there isn't much good data for land surveying.

Thanks.

Hey ^redacted‌, interested to know what size of businesses you were looking at. BVR is showing some closings in the last 1-2 years for businesses with less than $1M EBITDA that have pretty good EBITDA margins (~20%) and went for less than 3x. I'm interested in land surveying and am looking at companies of that size. Thanks.

This appears to be a "straight" valuation exercise - if any such animal ever exists. A cash flow based valuation with risks considered in rate of return - size of entity, referral sources and sustainability of the sources, contracts with developers, financial institutions or others and team member skills with ability to retain if necessary
