QofE "lite" - price range & vendors

Hi All, There have been a number of QofE posts lately and I've found a great referrals for providers. I was wondering if anyone can give some rough cost estimates for a "QofE lite," and make specific recommendations for who would be best at that service level?

As background, my husband/business partner is a CPA and finance professional with M&A experience, and is going to do our QofE. He thinks he can complete about 90%, but would like a 3rd party to help in certain areas and give the whole thing a second look.

I would have your husband start and in the meantime have a 3rd party QofE on the backburner. If you're doing SBA financing then you'll need an independent valuation of the business anyways. But if the business you're buying is super complicated then QofE makes sense.
