Numbers on residential/commercial construction growth by MSA?

Hello SearchFunder Community!

First time post. Does anyone know where I can find research reports that forecast/estimate growth in residential/commercial construction by specific MSA? I'm developing a thesis on targeting services that support these industries and would believe growth opportunities to be correlated to these numbers. 

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

In case any other searchers come across this, you can get building permit information from the US Census Bureau here: https://www.census.gov/construction/bps/current.html. Hope this helps someone!
