Medical Transportation (Healthcare/Transportation)

Hi all! Ian Perry here! Self-Funded searcher out of Northern California. For the past 6 years, I have been working at the bedside in healthcare, while selling medical supplies outside of work. The reason why I kept my search within a familiar industry. Recently I stumbled upon a local Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) business. We went under LOI back in mid-January. I feel healthcare as a whole has a lot of room for advancement and change for lack of efficiencies. Specifically, the NEMT space is another sub-sector under the healthcare umbrella that needs updating, while 10,000 baby boomers retire each day across the nation. The NEMT service will only grow. I feel the consolidation and the joining forces of mom and pops will provide a better service to the community and allow the healthcare industry to run more efficiently. LESS: late pick-ups, cancellations, lack of communication, not enough human capital, missed appointments, and the list could go on. To me, this is an opportunity to change the trajectory of an industry. I am looking to connect with mentorship, strategist, industry experts, firms currently or with past exits in the space, healthcare searchers in NEMT & adjacent industries, investors, other financiers and/or lenders.
