Looking to do a roll-up of local service businesses in Ohio or WNY....

I'm targeting businesses with <$1M in revenue and $100k - $300k in profit particularly in home services (i.e fencing, cleaning, landscaping), property management or Back-Office Admin (payroll processing, bookkeeping, recruiting, etc.).

I have enough capital to put down 10% on a deal and then finance the rest through an SBA loan.

I'd be interested in talking with someone that has successfully done a roll-up before or at least attempted to do one.

Thanks!

I've thought of a similar strategy but where I'm a bit stuck is how involved the owner is at this business size. I'm less excited about 'buying a job' than I am buying multiple businesses under such a model. I've tried to identify industries that might lend themselves to a general manager running the day-to-day.

Hey Michael - great to meet you. Love what you're doing. I run a small property management co now (short term rental cabins outside DC) and have been looking at buying a few other PM cos. I also invest in self-funded searches. Would love to talk shop! Shoot me an email - redacted
