Looking for advice on converting an internship to a full time offer!

I'm a senior at UC Davis, and I have been able to acquire a handful of internships, however, only some were paid. I would like some advice on how to negotiate good output as an intern for a full-time, paid position. Additionally, any advice regarding the recruiting process during a pandemic would be helpful.
