LATAM Multi-Country Searches

Hi all, I am wondering if traditional LATAM investors typically require searchers to pick a single country to focus their search?
Mexico is obviously a large market, but some Central American countries are clearly much smaller.
Are LATAM investors open to searchers looking for companies across a few target countries/smaller markets to broaden the scope of their search?
