Intro: Self-funded Bay Area searcher

Hey! My name is Jason and I'm a former pharma guy recently turned searcher. My background is in pharmaceuticals (marketing, access, pricing, strategy) although I also have 9 doors worth of residential real estate that I own/manage on the side as well.

My search kicked off the moment I go laid off from my prior company. They gave me a sweet severance so I decided to bet it all on myself! I first heard about ETA back during business school (INSEAD) but I wasn't in a position to pursue it full-time due to financial constraints.

I've decided to go the self-funded route at the moment and am looking to acquire a business in the Bay Area / Northern California. I don't have an industry focus, just want to stay away from liquor/gas/restaurants.
