Have you acquired a business with poor digital presence?

I recently had a chat with ^redacted‌ about how often searchers end up buying businesses that have a weak digital presence. When I asked Dan if this happens a lot, he said yes - mainly because these searchers know how to grow a business, even if its online presence isn't strong.

This got me thinking and I'd love to hear from other searchers. Would you buy a business with a poor digital presence? Would you work to improve it or just let it be?
