Hello Searchfunders - I am on a mission to compile the largest crowdsourced collection of due diligence checklists.

I'd like to include area-specific checklists like legal, technology, finance, operations, real estate, and more. I would also like to include industry-specific checklists for SaaS, HVAC, landscaping, healthcare services, trucking, hospitality, e-commerce, and other types of businesses.

The Ask: If you've come across, used, or created a due diligence checklist - can you please share it with me? You can e-mail them to redacted course, I will share all the checklists that I collect.

I compiled a bunch of DD lists in preparation of tackling my first deal with, which I thought worked great.. Then someone told me later that if you have experience in Investment Banking, to throw your comprehensive DD list out as most small/medium business owners dont want / cant get into that much detail on every aspect of the business, and trying to can kill the deal. You'll never be able to DD everything. Just focus on the areas that are obvious or of specific concern to you. If everything else in the deal stacks up, you'll just have to trust the Vendor at some point.
