I'm currently in DD for a multi-location dry cleaners including drop-off locations, pick-up and delivery service and processing plants.

There is a considerable amount of equipment in the processing plants (boilers, washing/drying machines, presses, etc). I have a list of assets including manufacturer, model, year purchased, expected remaining years, expected ongoing maintenance cost, price to purchase new.

I would like to 3rd party verify useful remaining life, expected ongoing maintenance costs for the bigger pieces of equipment.

Does anyone have experience with this? How did you find someone qualified to inspect equipment?

Thanks, Pete

I co-founded a YC-backed startup that automates parts of the QoE/DD processes so you don't make any mistakes during the most important part of the acquisition process. It prevents you from looking back and wishing you had asked a certain question during this stage. Our AI product saves you weeks of time and thousands of dollars. I think it would make sense for us to chat. You can schedule a time on my calendar here: https://calendly.com/dealwise/dealwise-30-minute-call

My recommendation would be to visit the websites of the manufacturers of that equipment and navigate to the Service section. You will likely find that the company sells directly or uses distributors to move their product. You'll want to speak to either the company directly or those distributors to understand life cycles for the products and maintenance requirements. Pay special attention to warranty lengths
