This morning I will be driving to work to start my first day owning a $1.5m EBITDA food manufacturing company. My part time, self funded search took nearly 4 years to get me here. For everyone out there slogging through the search process and feeling like it may not work out, do not give up! When I can come up for air, I will make a more thorough post on my search journey to share with this community that has been so helpful during my process.

Thank you for sharing! It took me four years to find and close my deal (which was the right deal for me). I was a traditional searcher that ultimately ran out of money, and then worked different jobs to keep the lights on and source deals that eventually led to my closed deal.

Congrats Will! Good to hear that there are folks out there doing alternative strategies that still get a deal across the line. Entrepreneurship is not a linear path. Congrats on the acquisition, best wishes in your first few weeks on the job!
