I'm in the early stages of looking at a property management company that is about half residential, half commercial property management local to me. I've got some background in residential real estate sales (and a broker's license) but nothing that relates to property management. I'd love to connect with people who have either acquired in this space and/or currently or have operated a similar company in hopes of learning what questions I might need to think to ask during my review process.


I'm also trying to get a feel for how to value something like this. There is no asking price so as I start to think about valuation, I am looking for guidance on what multiple of EBITDA is fair in the current market. Thanks.
