I would like to discuss 8(A) certification criteria with someone who has experience determining eligibility for this program and / or the minority-owned or women-owned certifications.

I would also love to speak with searchers who have successfully purchased a business and obtained 8(A) certification or a M/WBE certification post-close. Did you target businesses that could benefit from these certification(s), and if so in what industries were you searching?

Hi Christina - I'm currently a growth executive at an SDVOSB Digital Services firm, before that I cut my teeth in government. We recently were one of 4 teams to win a vehicle that had 86 bidders at the VA. I know how competitive this space can be. I'd love to connect with you on your interests. If you consider the investment readiness level of an EtA firm in govcon I'd suspect you need at least the following; 1) set-aside cert 2) contract vehicles (ideally small set-asides in specific civilian agencies) 3) partnerships w/ midsize companies to help gain traction via sub-contracting. I'm excited about digital services and data management over the next 5-10 years.

Christina, I’m a former volunteer member of a certification committee in Mn and can discuss certification criteria with you. I frequently advise businesses on how to meet the criteria. You can reach me at redacted
