DEAL STRUCTURES WITH OWNER-OPERATOR AS OPERATING PARTNER (ROLL-UP)
I'm a self-funded searcher/independent sponsor looking at a roll-up opportunity. Does anyone have any tips or experience they can share regarding structuring platform company acquisitions with the current owner-operator staying on as an Operating Partner? How have you structured your deals to align incentives and limit risk exposure? An alternative I'm considering is a clean exit for the owner and promoting an existing GM to Regional President with equity in the region or similar. Appreciate the feedback.
