Is there an average deal size for Search Funds? If so, how much would that be?

I am asking as I am starting to put together my Investment Thesis and would like to understand what target numbers I need to look for.

Completely agree -- as long as you are talking traditional search fund data. However, if you are contemplating a self funded transaction the answer will likely be different.

We will be publishing the 2022 version of the Stanford Search Fund Study in a few weeks. We will have an update on average deal size, industries and multiples.
