Happy to share that we just assisted a searcher acquiring a cabinet manufacturing business seeking gap equity to close their transaction. We used the real estate that was part of the transaction to structure a sale leaseback and generated an arbitrage of $850,000 spread (on top of what they were buying the real estate for) which the buyer used to fill the remaining equity and some additional operating capital. The buyers are now looking to roll up several more businesses using the same strategy. Please feel free to reach out to discuss this strategy if you are looking at deals that include a real estate component. redacted
