Am looking at a commercial services company that:
-Was formed as a side-project between 2 successful business-owners because of their existing relationships from previous ventures. They hired an operator to manage the day-to-day but did very little other than open doors (worked maybe 2 hours a month in the business).
-Has historical revenue/earnings but lost an operator last/early this year and is essentially dormant (no ongoing projects).
-Receives RFPs weekly for project-based work but doesn't reply due to focus on their core business (Owner #1) or retirement/golf (Owner #2).
-The service is tangential to OUR existing business in both service and client relationships.
Given the lack of earnings, what are some ways the community would structure this? I look forward to hearing your creative ideas!
