Cleaning acquisitions – need more deals!

We’ve been pursuing acquisitions in the residential cleaning space for 1.5yrs. We’ve acquired 2 add-ons in Denver, Milwaukee and are present in 15+ US metros with our platform company. We had a very robust pipeline of deals throughout 2023 and it has dried up quite a bit. We do proprietary, we do most of the listings, we’ve engaged a couple buy-side brokers, we’ve implemented a finder’s fee agreement with people we’ve met in the industry, we’ve gone into industry forums etc..

This year, we’ve noticed the availability of residential cleaning businesses has dried up significantly in the sources that we’ve tapped into.

Any ideas on how to increase our pipeline? Anyone (broker or not) close to the industry that can refer us to interesting deals in this space?

I have seen several cleaning companies listed in my area over the past several months, but many of them are on the smaller side <$500k EBITDA. What is your criteria?
