I'm wondering whether any searchers have worked with a buy-side advisor, what the experience was like, and whether you'd recommend it.
We're beginning a geo-based search in and around the Seattle metro area and my thought is that having a local advisor who's deep in the market could add a great deal of value. The question however is, is the incremental value worth the success fee?
I'd appreciate any insight from Searchers as well any advisors who are open to a brief introductory call - thanks!
