Best way to approach other owners of similar businesses

I acquired a professional services company last year and am considering approaching others in the industry for a next adjacent acquisition.

Given that these are very closely related businesses, there are not as many of them around - so spraying them with cold email sequences does not seem to be the right approach. Any recommended case studies that show how others have approached this would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Probably a multi touch approach could work.

The database creation would be mandatory, it can include emails, instagram handle, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Doing outreach first with email, use either mail track for individual emails so you know who is opening email and how many times, or can use software that would let you know who is opening the email.

If they are not responding then giving another touch on Instagram, and another on LinkedIn and so on.

It might look like a lengthy process but would love to help you with it's execution if required.

It depends on your time horizon. If you need to make an acquisition yesterday, cold calls or LinkedIn would be a good approach. If you are not in a rush, consider it a building block process and build positive connections with targets. Someday, eventually, all of them will either go bust or sell.
