Anyone with experience raising angel/friends & family capital under a SAFE

We're looking to raise some money without a current valuation on the business. Looking for an efficient way to do so and issuing SAFE notes seems like the way to go but i'm interested learning about the logistics of it and if it would in fact be the best option for us.
