Due to the African Swine Flu, China's pig population was decimated the past year and now faces a sever shortage of pork. The U.S. has the quantity to meet the demand, but China has strict policies on the use of antibiotics and other growth enhancing chemicals in the feed. Currently, about###-###-#### % of pigs are still raised on antibiotics and growth enhancers such as ractopamine. We own IP on several field-tested feed formulations and have partnerships in place that can supply natural yeast-based nutritional additives to the feed. We also have access to China's pork channels. We are looking to acquire feed distributors in the U.S. to build a new supply chain of natural, organically farmed pigs that are pre-approved for the Chinese market and beyond.

What a great idea Matthew. Are there other applications of the feed beyond pork? Chicken, beef? Sorry for my lack of knowledge of this field.

Just saw your interesting post Matthew. Is this still valid? I am a business broker, and would love to learn more if still valid
