Any successful searchers willing to give some advice?

I'm new to this forum, I ran a successful search fund back in 2010, but I can tell things have changed.  I'm planning to launch a fund ~November of this year.  Any experienced searchers with an acquisition under their belt willing to chat with me about the current market and their journey to date?  Would really like to talk to individuals in the SE U.S.
