I understand that software supported services to healthcare related firms are a great business model, but I'm having trouble finding examples. It seems like the SaaS in healthcare is all large firms like Veeva, Cerner, etc. Does anyone have a good example of a deal that has been done in this space?

https://www.remarkablehealth.com/ was a search fund deal that Cedar Lake Partners did back in###-###-#### It's behavioral health practice management software. The business was recently sold to Netsmart. I was a junior member of that team, the principals were Peter Flick and Chris Yakscoe. Another deal would be https://www.attainia.com/ which is SaaS for capital planning. I don't have any familiarity but SFP invested.

I spent most of my corp career in healthcare SaaS focused on revenue cycle management. I looked at a few healthcare SaaS deals when I started my search to leverage my background/expertise, but never found any within my niche (RCM) of expertise. I did see a lot of home health/hospice and consumer focused SaaS deals. So I think it just depends on how narrow you want to go, but the market exists. Depending on your target size, there are several small/mid-market bankers who focus exclusively on health tech deals.
