Does anyone here have any experience using the platform MicroAcquire (https://microacquire.com/)? I've been evaluating it as a source to use for potential SAAS deals as that is their specialty. Have yet to talk with someone who has firsthand experience using the platform so curious if anyone has and how successful you were with it.

The packaging/marketplace is great. To @honey's point and validating @marty's, I feel a lot of digging is required. As someone in tech myself, I feel that a lot of engineers build projects that rarely/barely commercialize then go to microacquire to cash out. In my experience, tech is easy to build, there is really little that is truly proprietary available for main/middle acquisitio entrepreneurs; this all said, I think it's best to look at the product/market fit when assessing these opportunities.

Yeah I actually acquired a business via MicroAcquire. It's an interesting platform for sourcing opportunities but, in general, the deals will have very little polish. My anecdotal experience (at least in SAAS) is that it's a lot of developers/engineers that have plateaued in some aspect of the business and are looking to hand it off. But my focus has also been on lower-end deals so that may explain part of what I'm seeing.

Happy to answer any specific questions.
