I get questions regularly about how to look for projects to work on. One of the easiest ways to find the right people to contact is using the NAICS codes for the industry you are looking to work in. Then from there, you can find industry trade group databases or other data brokers and then reach out to those owners.

Do you know the NAICS code you need? Here is a great tool to use.

I've seen people use lists of speakers at industry related conferences as an approach to finding brains to pick in different industry verticals
