Would Searchers Hire Me?

I’m currently an SBA lender and I have been in the SBA lending industry for over a decade, with a specialization in acquisitions. I’m feeling restricted and want to start my own SBA loan brokering firm but it will take sometime to get deal flow going with other lenders in my network.

In the meantime, while I get my loan brokerage business off the ground, I know I can add value to M&A firms who want to apply for SBA loans. I’d be able to help searchers with deal sourcing and deal structuring.

If you are search fund, would you hire someone like me and what would be a reasonable rate that you’d be willing to pay someone like me?
