Why is it so difficult for a searchfund to close a deal in Spain?

90% of the companies in Spain are small or medium, in which the founder is still present in the company.

The age of the owner is usually advanced, and with an emotional bond with his company. On the other hand, the age of the searchfund is around###-###-#### years which represents an important gap.

The company's oldest employees are often also friends of the owner and he wants to be sure that he leaves the company in good hands.

Our experience tells us that a very high percentage of deals don't finish in good way due to the lack of personal fit between the property and the searchfund.

But, there are formulas to alleviate these obstacles that we will be explained in further posts.

It goes the same way in India as well. This adds to mediocre board as well. You further posts would be of great help.
