I am not sure how serious a question this is, but the biggest difference is cash flow. Investing in the stock market does not necessarily generate cash flow. Yes, you might get some dividends and might see growth, but you are generating that in an investment account. With a business you can generate cash flow going forward based on the operations of that business. In addition, you can build wealth with a business like you can in the stock market, but you are more in control of building that wealth.
