Why are there so many printing shops for sale?

I typically consider it a red flag when I see a ton of a specific business type for sale. Any insights as to why there are so many printing shops for sale?

I love special situations where I see lots of a category up for sale.

Does this mean a drop in price? Supply and demand...Yes! Does this mean a drop in value? Maybe not.

I am looking closely at the signage industry currently. It is interesting with a little hair.

Like many categories, party due to retirement and partly to low barrier of entry and differentiation (specifically "printers" that are vinyl graphic shops). We're hunting in the space should you have a referral/introduction, see profile for search criteria.
