Who’s buying portable toilet companies?

The portable toilet/sanitation sector is full of low-hanging fruit. Stable cash flows, a high degree of fragmentation, unsophisticated operators (generally), low tech penetration, durable companies primarily owned by boomers, etc.

We’re familiar with the big boys (e.g., USS), but who else is active in this space? Any PE firms, HoldCos, or other consolidators? Anyone here on Searchfunder?

Looking to connect with 1) investment groups with current holdings in the portable toilet/sanitation sector and 2) investment groups looking to break into the space. We may have some deal flow to push your way.

Ran into a guy at a networking event with 800 portable toilets. Says it's the best margin business he's ever been in

USS is owned by Platinum Equity, bought from Calera Capital. I haven't looked into the sector but I would imagine if a firm as high-profile as Platinum is in the industry then other PE firms are too. https://www.platinumequity.com/our-company/united-site-services/
