Who is searching for leads in Texas for oil/gas? Seeking to learn more.

I am planning to launch an independent sponsor play and have settled on industrials as the sector.  I want my fund to diversify across industrial verticals and I believe oil/gas is a viable route especially since I am based in Texas.  Has anyone diligenced this space and willing to share details?
