Hi - excited to be on the platform. I'm curious what everyone thinks are the pros and cons of both individual and institutional investors? I'm thinking in terms of their involvement, deal terms, and expectations.

One important distinction regarding expectations is investment timeline. While there are funds that have longer investment horizons, individuals as a group may be more likely to have the flexibility to adjust the hold period to what is right for the investment. A fund life cycle could theoretically impose an artificial timeline on your exit so it's wise to talk openly about your timeline to ensure your investors (individuals or institutional) share your vision.
