What number of days are you seeing as standard for Due Diligence?

Specifically for franchise resales. We're seeing anything from 30 days to up to 90. Curious to hear what others have used in their own deals.

As an expert network focused on M&A due diligence, we've seen a lot of transactions at DueDilio.Over 150 in the last 9 months or so.The most common due diligence period we've seen is###-###-#### days.As Brian mentioned, there really shouldn't be a reason for needing longer than 30-days to conduct due diligence on a relatively simple business.

Agree with the above: 30 for very straightforward, uncomplicated; 45 average; 60 with real estate. If there is an item that is still hanging out there, such as environmental or real estate appraisal, you can enter the purchase agreement with those items conditioned as contingencies.
