What is the best way to scale a medical supplies retail shop?

I closed on a small medical supplies retail store March 14, 2023 and the experience has been up and down so far ? Mainly due to sales and employees. Currently, we don't accept insurance as a form of payment and we don't reimburse, but I hear that the big boys in the space (Rotech, Adapthealth, and LIncare) look for insurance reimbursement rolls when they are targeting acquisitions.

My question is would you: start accepting insurance, launch ecommerce, buy more small medical supply stores, lease spaces and open more, or something else as grow and exit plan?
